I am Solla Matt, an Icelandic photographer born in 1975 with an uncontrollable passion for photography.
I love capturing the simplicity in my everyday life and seeing the extraordinary in the small things.
The small things that are still so big when looking back. 

Timeless black-and-white portrait photography in nature is what I primarily shoot, but I also capture colourful everyday moments.

The art of seeing the unusual in the ordinary, along with imagining and executing photo shoots with varying degrees of success, is what best describes my style.
 
 After spending fifteen years taking photographs for others, I felt it was time to start showing my own work in the hope that the pictures would bring joy and spark interest in enjoying what everyday life has to offer.
