Childhood in north Iceland captureded by  mom of three

Ever since I had my first of three children, I have taken pictures of my children’s childhood.

Because I know how quickly time passes and how many beautiful moments are created when children are playing.

It reminds me of my own childhood, and it’s probably a bit of nostalgia that I feel when I photograph these fun moments.

Seven years ago, the little family and I moved to a tiny village in northern Iceland. There, the adventures take place in nature and on trips to the west fjord of Iceland, where we have a summer house.

The black cat

Our cat, Mosi, desperately wants to follow us wherever we go, and he has probably become well known in the countryside, as he is extremely sociable and prefers to get to know everyone very closely.
